Registrar Program

Psychmed also offers structured and supported placements for registrars, which include weekly attendance at peer support and review clinical team meetings, weekly training in evidence-based clinical skills, and involvement in monthly clinical training workshops throughout the year. PsychMed provides multiple highly competitive registrar placements which can be applied for through our careers portal. Psychologists are required to attend an interview and complete clinical case scenarios. Completing postgraduates are encouraged to apply. Successful registrars will have access to experienced supervisors and a diverse range of professional development opportunities in a supportive and busy clinical environment.

Healthcare Professionals

PsychMed provides professional training workshops for healthcare professionals in a wide range of clinical and applied psychology fields. Many of our psychologists have significant experience in the provision of clinical services, research and academic education, training and supervision. Our focus areas include mental health, suicide prevention, trauma, alcohol and other drugs, gambling, disability, autism, workplace issues and assessment, methodology and research.
